The tools I use to write code.

Cursor My primary AI-powered code editor. Claude Code AI-powered CLI tool for autonomous coding tasks and complex development workflows. Codex OpenAI's coding agent, used for delegating longer implementation tasks. CodeDash Secondary editor, often used for quick edits or specific projects.

AI Tools

Assistants used for various tasks.

ChatGPT My #1. Best all-round model for general queries, analysis, and complex reasoning. Claude My #2. Extremely good at coding tasks, providing accurate snippets and explanations.

Hosting

Platforms used to deploy and host projects.

Netlify My primary choice for hosting static sites and JAMstack applications. Reliable, fast, and great developer experience. Vercel Currently experimenting with Vercel, especially for Next.js projects, and comparing its features and pricing against Netlify. Appwrite Exploring Appwrite as a self-hosted backend-as-a-service solution for projects requiring database, auth, and storage.

Software & Tools

Browsers, design utilities, development environments, and other applications.

Figma Used for UI design, prototyping, and supplementing educational activities. Google Chrome Primary browser for general use and cross-browser testing. Chrome Canary Used for testing cutting-edge browser features and early bug detection. Sip Quickly sample and organize colors from anywhere on the screen. Unity Game engine used for teaching interactive development and building classroom projects. Xcode Essential IDE for iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS development and testing.
Xcode Simulator Used for simulating various Apple devices and OS versions for testing.
GitHub Desktop GUI client for managing Git repositories and collaborating on GitHub. YouTube Music The soundtrack to every late-night build.
